Blog Meeting 7 - 1/11/2006 - Learning how to search on the net

• Some of the kids were not familar with searching on the Internet. So, I decided to stop working on the blog for a while and we shared our knowledge about "Internet Searching"
  First they visited the following sites:
  Google: http://www.google.com.br/
  Yahoo: http://br.yahoo.com/
  Cadê?: http://www.cade.com.br/
  UOL: http://www.uol.com.br/
  Terra: http://www.terra.com.br/
  Wikipedia: http://pt.wikipedia.org/

Then, they came up with a subject and learned how to search. They learned so fast... I guess that's because their level of knowledge was not the same, I mean, some of them already knew how to search, so they shared their knowledge... Knowledge construction...

Then we went to blog search portals:

  Blogger – Pesquisa de Blogs: http://search.blogger.com/
  When they found out they they could find our blog on the search engine they felt... so... so... happy!
